The Pacific Emergency Access door set is intended for toilets in hospitals and similar situations where emergency access may be required.
The door typically opens into the toilet for reasons of privacy and so as not to obstruct the passageway when opened. However the door can become blocked if the occupant collapses in a position lying against the inside of the door.
The Emergency Access door set has a pivoting action and a retractable stop to enable the door to be opened outward in case of emergency.
The door set consists of a solid-core flush-panel door leaf pivoted in a steel frame.
The door set can be supplied for interior use in dry or wet areas. Note that wet area doors must be identified at time of order.
The Emergency Access door set has a specific handing, LH (Left Hand) or RH (Right Hand), because of the orientation of the retractable door stop.
