Pacific FW120 Fire Window -/120/-

Window Size

The Pacific FW120 is a fire window system which is fire resisting glazing as defined in the New Zealand Building Code Acceptable Solutions C/AS2 to C/AS6.

The system consists of non-opening (fixed) glazing with Pyroceram clear glass factory-fitted into a steel frame for interior use.

Approximate window weight is 38 kg/m2.

Pacific Fire Windows are approved for installation into vertical walls only. We do not currently have approvals for skylights or horizontal glazing.

Notes:  

1. Sizes noted above are the clear view.
2. The height and width is interchangeable as shown below.

Wall Types

• Non-load bearing timber stud/Gib Board^® wall conforming to minimum specification GBT120a or GBT120b as listed in “Gib^® Fire Rated Systems 1997”.
• Non-load bearing steel stud wall conforming to minimum specification GBS120 (“Gib^® Fire Rated Systems 1997”).
• Masonry or concrete construction.

Frame Types & Profiles

Timber Frame

The FW120 is not available in a timber frame.

Steel Frame

Pressed steel or stainless steel 1.6mm. Profile may be single or double rebated with 38mm reveal (minimum).

Additional Features

The FW120 may not be connected to a door frame as a sidelight or highlight. A wall segment of minimum width 250mm must separate the FW120 fire window from a door set or neighbouring window frame.
