Pacific Door Systems is the leading manufacturer of Institutional, Industrial, and Commercial Doorsets in New Zealand.

This is due to the fact that we not only test our products but we also provide a consultancy service to assist Owners, Designers and the like with design, product selection, hardware and installation details. This type of work is offered very early in the design stage of projects.

All too often Doors and Hardware are left to the last minute which can result in either costly changes to the structure to accommodate the required door, or the original brief has to be reduced to allow for doors to suit the opening and wall type provided.

Product Development and Testing

Pacific Door Systems have a pro-active approach to product improvement and development to ensure we can provide products fitting our clients’ special and specific requirements.

To this end Pacific Door Systems have a full time in-house R&D department which undertakes comprehensive development and testing of new products. Some of the most recent tests include testing doors to the European Burglar Resistance and Explosion Resistance standards.

Pacific Door Systems has recently developed and supplied neutron shielding doors for hospital linear accelerator facilities.

Pacific Door Systems are continually looking to improve the manufacturing process and quality by way of a well-planned capital expenditure programme, which allows for the purchase of the latest state of the art manufacturing equipment.
